1962: The foundation of Fluiten
Images of the first workshop.

Since the beginning of the sixties, mechanical
seals were designed with drive pins.

This feature distinguishes Fluiten's seals among the
vast range of products existing in the market today.

The first brand and first catalogue
of mechanical seals.

In 1971, the first testing equipment was produced
to simulate operating conditions and so to verify the
most important performance conditions for new projects.

Fluiten was present at the first industry
exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

In 1977, the patent of IDROFLU seal
was granted by the UK patent office.

Anni '80

In 1982, the new location in
Pero was born.

In the early eighties cooperation with
Milan's Politecnico began.

The first seals for reactors for Pressindustria,
installed in a plant in Russia were designed and tested.
Technical reports, still used today for the more
demanding applications in the rubber industry, are
published.

and for slurry pump applications.
Anni '90

In 1997, Fluiten obtains the
ISO 9001 certification.

Testing equipment for API 682 seals.

In 2003, a 50% joint venture between Fluiten
and the Johnson Corporation, a worldwide leader
in the market of rotary joints, is constituted.
